What a gorgeous, soft, fluffy snow. It is truly a winter wonderland out there. We recently moved to Kansas from Nebraska. Our move brought us closer to our oldest daughter and her husband. We live within a mile of their house which allows us to "help" out with little things like taking the dog to the vet, furniture deliveries, and running small errands. This morning as the snow was falling, I got to snuggle with their pug, Molly, while our handyman rehinged a door.
I love retirement. Some people may find it boring, but after 36 years in the work world, I love having a break. We have time to organize our lives and travel. We just got back from a trip to China. That'll be the topic of my next blog.
